IIRD is an innovative Universal Hybrid Agriculture Training & Research program whose
- Strategy is to provide training in hybrid farming to rural people;
- Develop new hybrids with novel traits of quality, taste, flavour, uniformity, high nutrition values & shelf life;
- Promote hybrid vegetable & Fruits agriculture farming varieties along with Nursery Plants;
- Make technology for better farming, to save time, fuel, fatigue and bring about cost-saving.
The mission of the programs is to work in the field of farming development & Agricultural Society Welfare in the rural and backward areas especially to elevate the condition of the farmer community as well as farming products, and make a significant contribution for the people of rural area in hybrid farming of vegetable & fruit value chain and meet the present and future needs of the consumers.

The organization is emphasizing its activities and focusing in three levels:
- The Seed technology division dedicated to developing new protocols for seed treatment that uses significantly lower amount of chemicals.
- The R&D division to develop products that enable this use of lower amount of chemicals that can be adapted to the environment.
- The routine activities of GO-VILLAGERS use methods to protect the environment including recycling.
